Realme GT Master Edition 5G Specifications

1. Chipset and Screen

Even though it is relatively cheap for the flagship smartphone class, Realme created this GT Master Edtion 5G series with not kidding advantages. One of them is evidenced by the embedded Snapdragon 778G 5G made by Qualcomm.

The Snapdragon 778G 5G features an Adreno 642L GPU that offers up to 40% graphics rendering and supports high resolution with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Then, the large 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen on the Realme GT Master Edition is also claimed to produce a very smooth gaming experience.

In addition, the performance of the Snapdragon 778G 5G can also be maximized with GT Mode. GT Mode can be activated to increase the CPU, virtual RAM, and cooling system performance. This GT Mode is suitable for getting a maximum gaming experience with support from Snapdragon 778G 5G.

In this case, Realme prefers to use Snapdragon 778G 5G instead of Snapdragon 888 for the GT Master Edition series because this chipset is already at a level similar to Snapdragon 888 with a capacity upgrade.

Dominikus Susanto, Senior Manager of Business Development at Qualcomm Indonesia, revealed that the chipset used by the GT Master Edition series could provide high speed.

"The 778 series has a significant increase when compared to other Snapdragon 7 series in Indonesia. So, this chipset can be used as a solution to the needs of the community, most of whom are looking for anti-slow smartphones and not easy to lag, "concluded Dominikus at a virtual press conference today, Wednesday (18/8/2021).

2. Body, Design, and Battery

In terms of design, Realme collaborated with a well-known designer from Japan, Naoto Fukasawa, to produce a device that carries the Ultra Slim and Master Design theme. This Realme GT Master Edition also won the iF 2021 design award, which is equivalent to the Oscar award for the design industry.

It has a super-thin body of 8mm and a super lightweight of 174g, making the Realme GT Master Edition comfortable to hold. Inspired by the thing that best represents travel, namely the suitcase, Naoto Fukasawa designed the smartphone into a “suitcase” shape. It replicated the horizontal grid of the suitcase, allowing users to remember the feel of vacation during this pandemic naturally.

Regarding the design, the Realme GT Master Edition has two color variants with different back panels. Related to this, Krisva Angnieszca, Public Relations Manager of Realme Indonesia, explained that the company wants to provide at least one unique design different from other smartphones.

“On the one hand, we also pay attention to users who prefer a simple design. Therefore, we provide another option through this Daybreak Blue color variant.” Kristeva explained at today's virtual event.

With powerful, lightweight flagship performance and a master design, the Realme GT Master Edition is also equipped with a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Charge. In addition, this 5G flagship smartphone is also supported by a Vapor Chamber Cooling System, accompanied by a super large heatsink area that can cover 100% of the core heat source. This can significantly reduce the temperature and keep the phone in a state of maximum performance.

3. Camera and Memory

For the photography section, the Realme GT Master Edition is equipped with a 64MP main camera, 119° ultra-wide lens, and a 4cm macro lens. The 64MP main camera can perfectly record from far to close, from day to night, and from portrait to landscape.

As for the selfie camera, the Sony IMX615 sensor has a 32MP F2.45 resolution with an 85-degree FOV field of view. The Sony sensor allows for better image quality, and with the high resolution, users can make every selfie photo incredibly sharp.

In addition to providing quality cameras, Realme also collaborates with many professional street photographers to produce emotional and storytelling street photography. There are 5 street photography presets that users can use to produce stunning photo quality, including DIS Snapshot Mode, Street filter, B&W Plus filter, Dramatic filter, and Quick Launch (Double-click the volume down button when the screen is off).

All reliable performance on the Realme GT Master Edition is supported by a large RAM and ROM capacity of 8GB + 256GB, which can provide super smooth daily use performance. In addition, there is also Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology (DRE) technology which will convert ROM into virtual RAM to expand RAM so that multitasking activities become smoother.

To complete all these qualified specifications, the Realme GT Master Edition also features NFC. Overall, the Realme GT Master Edition is a 5G flagship killer smartphone with a tough, trendy design and an affordable price.
